DeShawn, Thanks for submitting your first lab assignment. Here are some comments about each pic: 1. Steeple gets lost in the white of the sky. Objects in the dead center of a picture are sometime boring. This one is close. Center of interest (cross) is very small compared to the total amount of space i the pic. 2. Same as #1 - Down the center composition is sometimes boring. If you want to take a pic of some flowers get down on the ground (so close you can see the bee's wings) and get a picture of all the beautiful details. A field of flowers (and the campus sidewalks) is usually boring unless it is on a hillside with other subjects. 3. Car grill with vanity license plate looks like a snapshoot. I like the idea that you did kneel down to take it. We want students to attempt to take photographic representations not snapshots. 4. ? 5. ?
