Kala,
Nice thematic prsentation. Some comments per pic:
1. Good composition with tree to the left side (heavy objects weighted left) and at the 1/3 points. Depth of field could have been manipulated better to keep the viewer looking at the sapling rather that gazing off to the lake and far shoreline. Put you camera aperture on a larger opening (see newly posted Powerpoint tutoial on Blackboard for some more help).
2. The picture could have been the view of the lake from the bench rather than the view of the bench from behind it. Be careful of just walking up to subjects, putting the camera at your face, and then just shooting a picture. Try a different angle to get more drama in the picture.
3. I love this waterfall picture! Wondeful how the water is moving toward the camera. Very dynamic. Very strong lines (the creek shoreline curves )that keep the action alive. Nice work. How about kneeling down and shooting up the creek?
4. Again, nice picture. I do wonder what the center of attention was to be. There are several to choose from - waterfall, lake, foreground treees, and background trees. Zoom in and compose something that brings the viewer up close to the beauty of the scene. Move stream to right side of the frame so it has room to flow into the picture.
5. Center of attention not clear.
