This is a purposeful motion picture. In this pic. I was on the floor leaning against a chair. This pic. was taken using the night portrait mode, which is a slower shutter speed. The shutter speed setting is 0.5 sec.

This is the second purposeful motion pic. In this pic. I was on the floor leaning against a chair. This pic was taken using the sport mode on the camera, which is a faster shutter speed. The shutter speed setting was 1/8 sec.

This is a depth of field picture. I took this picture of the rose using the landscape mode on my camera. The back ground is clear but the rose is blurred. My f-stop setting was f/3.4. The shutter speed was 1/125 sec. I was probably a few inches (maybe 6) from the rose.

This is my second depth of field picture. I took this picture using the flower mode on my camera. So you can see the rose (and insect) well but the background is blurred. My f-stop setting is f/2.8 and the shutter speed is 1/125 sec. Again i was a few inches from the rose (probably about 6).

Since the fan was going fast, I used a tri-pod to keep the camera still and used a very slow shutter speed, it was 1/80.

The shutter speed on here was much faster, I had it a 1600. As you can see the fan was still to fast for the stop-action, but liked the way this one turned out so I kept it. You can see the movement but I stopped it still. If I would've completely stopped, it would just look like a fan turned off. That's why i chose this one..

shutter speed was 1600-f stop was .05

I used my depth of feild to focus on different ranges. In this one the first tube of playdo is in focus, in the second it no longer is. I was probably a couple of feet away from the first tube at the most. More like a foot and a half.

shutter speed was again 1600 and f stop .05

Same thing as before, but I changed my depth of feild. The first tube is no longer in focus as it was in the second. Same exact distance, same spot...about a foot and a half away.

I went to Cedar Creek to take this photo. the waterfall was filled with plants and I thought it made a very good foreground for the picture. I set the shutter speed to 60 in order to make the waterfall appear blurred.

I used the same plant and waterfall for this photo. I changed the shutter speed to about 800 so the water would look clear as it fell.

This is a picture of a bird feeder at my parent's house. Itook several pictures to change the depth of field so that the trees in the back would either be clear or blurry. My f-stop was 3.2 for this picture. I believe my shudder speed was at 500 and I was about 2 feet away.

I took a picture of the same bird feeder. This time I set the f-stop to 8. My shutter speed was at 80 from the same distance.

To manipulate motion in this picture I put the aperture at f/5.2 and had a focal length of 17.4mm to get a freeze-frame shot of the waterfall down the rocks.

My camera does not say what the shutter speed is, but the settings I used for this photo were: Program Mode, f/5.2, ISO 125, 17.4mm focal length

To manipulate motion in this picture I put the aperture at f/8.0 and had a focal length of 5.8mm to get a blurred shot of the waterfall down the rocks.

My camera does not say what the shutter speed is, but the settings I used for this photo were: Program Mode, f/8.0, ISO 125, 5.8mm focal length

Row of crayons, DOF manipulated by focusing on the crayons in the back of the row in the picture

f/2.8, 7.2mm, 1/80, 1 inch

Row of crayons, DOF manipulated by having all crayons in focus in the picture

f/11.0, 7.2mm, 1/80, 1 inch

This picture was cropped and then i used the hue saturation and the bightness/contrast to adjust the grass color aroud the baby bunny. This is a medium quality image of 2048.
This picture was cropped and then I adjusted some of the colors using the color scale. My low image quality is 1280.
This picute was cropped and i used the brightness/contrast to adjust the colors. I also hue saturation to adjust colors on the trees. My high image quality is 3264.
This picture was cropped and then I used the brightness/contrast to adjust the colors. MY meduium image quality is 2048.

I cropped the picture size and added a gray scale. I also played with the brightness/contrast for the color

I cropped this photo taken at Heritage Park.
I went took this photo at the botanical garden in Johnson County. To change it, I cropped this photo in Photoshop
I adjusted the light levels and cropped this photo.
I cropped this photo and adjusted the light levels.
For this photo, I adjusted the levels and got rid of a branch that was in the corner.
